Jamie is the founding director of The Training Room, opening its doors in 2005 following the CFL season. Jamie graduated with a Bechelors of Human Kinetics from UBC in 2001, then continued with Athletic Therapy at Sherida College in Oakville, Ontario, completing the post-grad diploma in 2004. Following certification, Jamie took a position with the BC Lions as Assistant Therapist for the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Currently, he provides therapy and medical services to the Langley Chiefs Jr. A Hockey Club and the North Langley Community Football team. In the summer of 2007 Jamie acted as the Head Therapist for the Vancouver Whitecaps Women's team of the USL.

Kevin Witmer

Kevin joins The Training Room following two successful years with the BC Lions, including the 2006 Grey Cup championship (he has the ring to prove it!). A graduate from Sheridan College and the University of Guelph, Kevin has refined his skills in acute injury assessment, development of high-performance rehabilitation programs, and sports-specific conditioning for excellerated healing and return-to-sport.

Tara Mang, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist

A graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, Tara brings over 10 years of massage therapy experience to the clinic twice a week. Her specialties include deep tissue massage, myofascial release, lymph drainage, and sports massage.

Tara`s expertise in sports injury assessment and rehabilitation make her a great fit in our multi-disciplinary Sports Medicine team.
